Study in Armenia
Natural sciences such as physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, architecture and medicine are cornerstones of the education system. Today there are 18 state and 20 private universities in Armenia. Of the state universities, eight universities have an international management. Foreign students, aspirants and lecturers teach and study at Armenian universities. On the following pages, the state universities with their educational focuses and directions are briefly presented. Detailed information can be found on the relevant university websites.

Every year, the DAAD enables scholarship holders from Germany – from students to university teachers – to spend time in Armenia. At the same time, recipients from Armenia are given the opportunity to study, teach or do research in Germany.
