On Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the traditional Madagh festival of the Armenian community in Nuremberg, the primate visited the community and celebrated the Holy Liturgy. He was assisted at the Holy Altar by parish priest Aygik Hovhannisyan. The holy liturgy was accompanied by acolytes of the congregation. During the Holy Liturgy, the bishop ordained the acolytes of the congregation Arman Abrahamyan and Hayk and David Amiryan by the laying on of hands as "Dpir", i.e. acolytes.

Following the Holy Liturgy, the Madagh blessing and a mass for the deceased of the community took place.

After the Holy Liturgy, the congregation gathered in the church hall for the traditional Madagh meal. During the meal, Sunday school students read poems to the congregation.
